Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

When you use SnoozeBanks, we collect the following information:

  • Email address (provided during sign-up or via Apple Sign-In)
  • Name (if provided through Apple Sign-In)
  • Alarm history (times set, snooze counts, dismissal method)
  • Charge history (amounts charged per snooze session)
  • Puzzle completion data (type and completion status)
  • Daily spending cap preference

2. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your credit or debit card details are stored securely by Stripe and never touch SnoozeBanks servers. We only store a Stripe Customer ID to associate your account with your saved payment method. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.

3. Data Storage

Your account information and alarm history are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Device Permissions

SnoozeBanks requests the following device permissions:

  • Push Notifications — required to deliver alarm alerts
  • Accelerometer — used only for the Shake puzzle type

We do not access your location, health data, contacts, photos, or microphone.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the Settings screen, all associated data — including your alarm history, charge records, and Stripe customer profile — is permanently deleted.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — view your alarm and charge history in the History tab
  • Delete your data — permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen at any time
  • Update your information — change your email in Settings
  • Opt out of data sale — we do not sell your data

California residents (CCPA) and EU residents (GDPR) have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Third-Party Services

SnoozeBanks uses the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — payment processing and card storage
  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

8. Children's Privacy

SnoozeBanks is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
